New construction of a single-family home to KfW Efficiency House 40 standard. The design placed special emphasis on a highly efficient building envelope, the use of a ground-source heat pump, and the integration of smart building technology.

Result
Near energy-autonomous operation. KfW Efficiency House 40 standard achieved.
